Mountains to Bay CSA is a creation of the Maryland Certified Organic Growers Cooperative. Established in 1996, the Cooperative is a group of 13 small family farms who are working together to bring the freshest, highest quality organic produce directly to local consumers. Each cooperative member is committed to environmentally sound farming practices and the preservation of open farm
land. Farmer members dedicate a major portion of their production to the CSA shareholders. The cooperative members help each other out when heat or drought threaten in any given area. Farmers average over 10 years of organic expertise growing for local farmer’s markets and top restaurants.

Mountains to Bay CSA offers it’s shareholders 20 weeks of locally grown, certified organic vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Each week,  our CSA coordinators choose from the bountiful harvest of the farmer members and pack a bag of fresh produce for each Mountains to Bay CSA shareholder. Shareholders pick up their shares each week at a designated location. In addition to fresh produce, shareholders receive a monthly newsletter and weekly tips. In addition to recipes and storage info, we will keep you informed with updates on harvest, substitutions and available specialty products.

*Can you pick up your produce at a designated
time and location each week?

*Can you commit to receiving and using multiple
seasonal items each week? We cannot split
shares; but you may.

*Will you arrange to share or sell your produce
during vacation? There will be no refunds for unused weeks.
